WuWa 2.6 Codes
During the Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 livestream, three special codes were revealed: BURNINGSUN, MOONLIGHT, and FACETHEFATE. Each code granted valuable rewards, including Astrite, resonance potions, energy cores, supplies, credits, tuners, and sealed tubes. However, these codes have already expired as of August 18, 2025, so players who claimed them in time were able to enjoy the bonuses.

WuWa 2.6 Release Date
Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 is officially scheduled for release on August 28, 2025. This update will introduce new characters, Augusta and Iuno, who play key roles in the unfolding Rinascita storyline. In addition, players will be able to explore a brand-new area in Septimont, expanding the game’s world with fresh adventures and challenges.

New Characters
Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 will feature four limited 5★ characters across two phases. In Phase 1, the lineup includes Augusta, the Ephor of Septimont, together with Carlotta from the Montelli family of Ragunna City, and Shorekeeper from the Black Shores.
In Phase 2, Iuno, the Priestess of Septimont and counterpart to Augusta, makes her debut. She will be joined by Ciaccona, a skilled Aero sub-DPS and bard traveling through Rinascita.
New Weapons in Version 2.6
Thunderflare Dominion (Broadblade)
Thunderflare Dominion is a new 5★ Broadblade and the signature weapon of Augusta. It will be featured in the first phase of Version 2.6, alongside The Last Dance (pistols, Carlotta’s signature) and Stellar Symphony (rectifier, Shorekeeper’s weapon).
Moongazer’s Sigil (Gauntlet)
Moongazer’s Sigil is a 5★ Gauntlet designed for Iuno. It will be available in the second phase of Version 2.6, released together with Woodland Aria, Ciaccona’s signature pistols.
New Battle Pass Weapons – Hunter’s Growl Series
Version 2.6 also introduces the Hunter’s Growl Series, a new set of Battle Pass weapons. Only one weapon can be obtained per patch, but it can be collected multiple times across different updates.
New Main Quests in Version 2.6
Chapter 2 Act 8 – By Sun’s Burning Hand
Available at the launch of Version 2.6, this act follows the first half of the journey back to Septimont. Rover joins forces with Rinascita to confront the advancing Dark Tide.
Chapter 2 Act 9 – By Moon’s Revelation
Launching on September 17, 2025 during Phase 2, this act continues the storyline in Septimont. Players will work alongside Iuno and Augusta as the threat surrounding the Journeying Paradise intensifies. This chapter is expected to conclude Rinascita’s arc, culminating in the confrontation with Leviathan.
Version 2.6 New Area – Sanguis Plateaus
Sanguis Plateaus becomes an explorable location in Version 2.6, situated southwest of Capitoline Hill, an area previously hidden by dense clouds. This mountainous region is filled with glowing fauna and dangerous Tacet Discords. Once known as a hunting ground for gladiators, it has now fallen under the growing corruption of the Dark Tide.
Version 2.6 New Echoes
Several new Echoes will be introduced, expanding the variety of enemies and abilities available. The update includes both Nightmare and Phantom variants of creatures encountered earlier in the journey.

Version 2.6 New Bosses
The False Sovereign
The False Sovereign is one of the new bosses introduced in Version 2.6. It is tied to the main storyline, and players will face it as part of the quest progression.
Lady of the Sea
Lady of the Sea also debuts as a new boss. This battle involves confronting Mya’s corrupted form, and defeating it grants access to her Echo.
Version 2.6 New Tactical Hologram
A new Tactical Hologram challenge becomes available in Version 2.6, featuring Lady of the Sea. Born from the corruption of the Dark Tide, this hologram fight can be attempted at increasing levels of difficulty, rewarding players for their victories.
Version 2.6 New Sonata Effects
Two new Sonata Effects are introduced, offering additional build diversity:

The Crown of Valor set enhances shield-based teams with offensive boosts, while the Law of Harmony set focuses on Echo Skill and Heavy Attack damage, making it suitable for characters that rely heavily on these mechanics.
Version 2.6 – New Features and Quality of Life Updates
Flight in All Regions
Flight is now available across all previously explored regions, including Huanglong and the Black Shores, through the Utility: Flight feature.
Fantasies of the Thousand Gateways Overhaul
This mode receives several updates:
- A new stage added
- New metaphors
- Improved user interface
- A button to claim all rewards at once
Record Sync for Endgame Content
Players can now skip certain floors or stages in modes like Whimpering Wastes and Tower of Adversity, jumping directly to higher levels if they cleared them in the previous cycle.
Tower of Adversity Expansion
Two additional floors have been added to the Hazard Tower, offering more challenges and rewards.
New Ember Mechanic in Whimpering Wastes
Enemies now generate Ember when damaged. Building up Ember allows Resonators to enter the Burning Waves state, increasing damage output.
Collectible Tracking in Huanglong
A new tracking feature helps players locate collectibles, making it easier to fully complete the region.
Lootmapper Upgrade
The Lootmapper’s detection range has been increased, making hidden Supply Chests easier to find while exploring.
Weapons Gallery Update
The Gallery now displays details of all weapons and weapon projections for easier reference.
One-Click Claim All
A universal Claim All function has been added, allowing players to collect all available rewards across events, the Guidebook, and the Data Bank with a single action.
Graphics Performance Optimization
Frame generation support has been expanded to include more graphics cards across AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA, improving performance on a wider range of PCs.
