What the Lost Sword Meta Looks Like in August 2026

Lost Sword runs on a position-based grid: Front, Center, and Rear rows, real-time combat, and mostly automated skill rotations while you time ultimates. Investment decides more than rarity does. A base 5-star sitting in a drawer does nothing.

The same unit at Transcendence 5 with the right card and pet can carry Abyss floors that stall a half-built S+ pick.

Clarisse is the clearest proof of this right now: fully built, she puts up 1B+ damage spikes in short fights and skips mechanics outright, but an under-invested copy falls off fast once a fight runs long.

Tiamat still puts up some of the highest raw numbers per hit in the game, but she’s fragile enough that she needs a dedicated tank in front of her to survive past the early turns.

Most B, C, and D units are early-game fillers you’ll replace the moment you pull something better. Don’t sink Divine Paper Dolls into limit breaking them unless you’re rerolling and one is genuinely all you have.

Best Lost Sword Characters Tier List for PvP

Colosseum and Brawl reward control and burst timing over raw sustain, and the meta here moves slower since fewer players push ranked seriously.

Merlin is close to mandatory: her group freeze ultimate paired with a team-wide crit aura swings matches on its own. Circe brings action-lock control that most PvE tier lists undersell entirely, and Galahad’s immunity window lets you eat a burst combo and counter on your terms.

Tristan’s group root sets up lockdown chains, and Lancelot’s HP-scaling assassin kit with cooldown resets carves out a real PvP niche even though she’s less flashy than a Wizard nuke. 

Lisa performs well when paired with dispel enablers like Morgana, since stripping a shield before her burst lands is often the difference between a kill and a wasted ultimate.

Flame Kay and Cowqueen Belsey remain relevant for their tankiness and DoT pressure, and NEO Bedivere or Guinevere give you the sustain to outlast a slower opponent.

Clarisse can delete a team in a cleave or shield comp, but she needs setup to get there, so don’t expect her to solo-carry ranked the way she can solo-carry a story stage.
