Valorant Night Market July 2026 is confirmed for July 16 through July 29, and if your Discord is anything like ours, half the server already has a wishlist typed out.

Riot dropped the announcement on July 10 with a short post: a deal too good to miss, Night Market returns July 16.

Two weeks isn’t a lot of time to decide whether that discounted Reaver Vandal is worth it, so we broke down the exact rules, the full eligible pool, and the pricing math before your six cards even show up.

Valorant Night Market July 2026 Release Date and Regional Schedule

The market opens July 16 and closes July 29, sitting inside Season 2026 Act 4. Exact unlock time depends on your server.

Los Angeles gets it around 5 PM PDT on the 16th, New York around 8 PM EST the same day, and Frankfurt sees it roll over to about 1 AM CET on July 17.

Mumbai players are looking at roughly 5:30 AM IST on the 17th. Riot doesn’t send a push notification for this one.

The card icon just appears in the top right corner of the main menu, next to the Store tab, and if you’re not checking daily you’ll miss the first few days of your window without realizing it.

Nine days out from close doesn’t sound urgent until you remember there’s no reroll. Whatever six cards you flip on day one are locked until July 29. Buy fast if the discount is right, because the timer doesn’t pause for indecision.

How the Six Cards Actually Work

Every account gets exactly one set of six offers for the whole event. No refreshing, no swapping, no begging support for a redo.

Each card pulls a random eligible skin at a random discount between 10% and 49%, and the offers are personal. Two friends flipping cards side by side will almost never see the same six skins, since Valorant filters out anything you already own.

Riot builds in a floor so the whole event doesn’t feel like a coin flip. If you don’t already own most of the Premium tier, you’re guaranteed at least two Premium edition skins or knives among your six cards.

There’s also a variety rule: no more than two skins for the same weapon type unless the pool genuinely can’t fill six slots otherwise. So the classic nightmare scenario, six cards and all six are Vandals you don’t want, shouldn’t happen under the current rules.

One more gate matters more than people think: a skin has to be at least two Acts old before it’s eligible. That’s why brand new collections never show up here, no matter how badly you want a discount on them.

A few outlets covering this event describe the guarantee differently, framing it as one Premium skin plus a melee, or two Premium skins, rather than a flat two-Premium floor.

The dominant and longer-standing description across Riot’s own support material and most tracking sites is the simpler version: at least two Premium tier items if you don’t own the majority of that tier already.

We’re going with that version here since it matches the mechanic Riot has run since it was introduced, but treat any single outlet’s phrasing with a little skepticism until Riot’s support page is updated for this cycle.

What’s Excluded, No Matter How Much You Want It

Kuronami isn’t coming to your cards. Neither is anything from an Exclusive or Ultra edition line, so cross Elderflame, Prime 2.0-tier exclusives, and similar high-end collections off your hopeful list right now.

Battle Pass skins and Agent Gear or contract cosmetics are also out. Melee skins priced at 4,350 VP or higher get filtered from the pool entirely, and anything released too recently simply hasn’t aged into eligibility yet.

If you’re chasing a specific dream roll, Prime, Oni, Reaver, Ion, and Gaia’s Vengeance are the names that keep coming up in community wishlists, since they combine strong visual identity with the widest circulation across the Premium tier.

A 49% card on a Premium gun skin drops it to roughly 905 VP, less than half the regular price. Melee discounts hit harder in raw VP terms since the base price is so much higher.

How to Access Your Cards

Log in any time after the market opens on July 16. A card-shaped icon appears near the Store tab on the main menu.

Click it, and you’ll see six face-down cards waiting to be flipped one at a time. Each reveal shows the skin and its exact discount percentage.

From there it’s a straightforward buy or skip decision, and whatever you don’t buy stays available (at that same locked discount) until the market closes on July 29.

Which Cards are Worth Buying

Not every Premium hit is worth an instant purchase, but a handful of collections clear the bar almost regardless of discount. Reaver Vandal remains one of the most requested skins in the game for its sound design and finisher animation.

Prime Vandal and Oni Phantom both hold up years after release because the VFX still reads clean in competitive play, not flashy for the sake of it.

Gaia’s Vengeance, Ion, Helix, and Magepunk round out the tier below that: strong theming, consistent community demand, and worth grabbing at anything above 30% off.

Sovereign and Neptune are safer picks if your card lands at a smaller discount, since both hold resale-level community value even at 10-20% off.

If your six cards roll toward Select or Deluxe tier instead, that’s not automatically a loss. A 40%+ discount on a skin you’d have bought at full price anyway is still a win, even if it’s not a Premium showpiece.
