Valorant Night Market September 2026: Dates, Skins & Picks

Valorant’s Night Market September 2026 has a confirmed window now, and that changes the whole conversation. Riot posted the dates on September 15, so the guessing game is over.

The market opens September 22 and runs through October 6, and if you have been sitting on VP since the July event, this is the one you have been waiting for.

Then, how does it work this time? What’s in the pool, and what should you buy?

How the Night Market Works This Time

The event drops with patch 13.06 in Season 2026 Act 5. Shop reset lands at 5:00 PM PDT on September 22.

That’s 8:00 PM ET, 1:00 AM CET on the 23rd, 5:30 AM IST, 9:00 AM KST/JST, and 11:00 AM AEDT. Same two-week run as the July market, so plan around whichever time zone you’re in.

When you log in after it goes live, look for the tarot-card icon in the top right. Click it and you get six hidden cards.

Flip all of them and that’s your entire shop for the next two weeks. There’s no daily refresh and no reroll button. Once revealed, those six skins stay locked until October 6.

Discounts land anywhere from 10% to 49%. Riot still runs the same protection they added back in 2021: at least two of your six offers will be either a Premium-edition gun or an eligible melee, so you won’t get stuck with six Select throwaways.

You also won’t see more than two skins of the same weapon type unless the pool has no other way to fill the six slots. Anything you already own never shows up.

What’s in the Pool for This Event

Only Select, Deluxe, and Premium collections that dropped at least two full Acts ago qualify. No Act 5 skins, no Battle Pass items, no Ultra or Exclusive guns.

Knives priced above 3,550 VP are banned outright, which knocks the expensive ones out of Reaver, Oni, Ion, Magepunk, Helix, Sovereign, XERØFANG, Valiant Hero, and Bolt.

Aemondir, Black.Market, Bolt, Celestial, Crimsonbeast, Cryostasis, Doodle Buds, Ego, Forsaken, Gaia’s Vengeance, Gravitational Uranium Neuroblaster, Helix, Ion, Magepunk, Nebula, Neptune, Oni, Origin, Prime, Prime//2.0, Radiant Crisis 001, Reaver, Recon, Solarstride, Soulstrife, Sovereign, Spline, Tethered Realms, Undercity, Valiant Hero, VALORANT Go! Vol. 1, VALORANT Go! Vol. 2, Xenohunter, and XERØFANG. Remember that the knives from Bolt, Helix, Ion, Magepunk, Oni, Reaver, Sovereign, Valiant Hero, and XERØFANG cost too much to appear in this market, so those will always show up as gun-only draws.

No new collections got added to the pool for this round, and Act 6 isn’t bringing any fresh entries either.

A 49% Prime or Reaver Vandal lands around 905 VP. That’s the number that makes people screenshot their shop and post it.

What You Should Actually Buy

People keep asking what’s worth the click. Here’s the answer based on what actually gets used in-game once the event ends.

Vandal, Phantom, and Sidearm Picks

Vandal mains should pray for Reaver or Prime at 35% or better.

Gaia’s Vengeance and XERØFANG Vandal sit close behind as the next-best pulls. Phantom mains care about one skin above the rest: Oni.

Recon Phantom is the sleeper pick that a lot of players regret skipping. For sidearms, Ion Sheriff or Sovereign Ghost at a solid discount is usually an easy buy.

Melee Picks Under the Cap

Any melee under the 3,550 VP cap that you actually like is worth grabbing. Some of the cheaper Premium knives sneak into eligibility, and those can end up being the best pull in your entire shop simply because knives rarely go on sale at all.

The rule the community keeps repeating: 30% or higher on a Premium skin you actually use is a good deal.

Anything under 20% on a gun you never pick up is leftover VP. Flip all six cards first, then decide. Buying one skin does not refresh the rest of your shop.

What the Community Is Saying

Riot’s official post went up on September 15, and the reaction split the usual way between hope and complaints. The requests that keep circulating every single market:

• Let players pick one skin they actually want
• Add a reroll option after a purchase
• Let more of the expensive knives into the pool
• Guarantee at least one strong collection per market

Dataminers also found files for a separate limited-time shop internally labeled “Soup,” which appears to use some kind of ingredient system.

That’s a different, future event, most likely tied to the current food-themed Battle Pass, and it has nothing to do with this September Night Market.

Don’t mix the two up when you see people talking about it online.

The Night Market’s History and What Comes Next

Riot has run a Night Market every Act since Episode 1 Act 3, and the recent pattern is steady:
