What We Know About Nod-Krai

Nod-Krai has been teased multiple times in the Song of the Welkin Moon Event, especially from the quotes from the Adventurer’s Guild, Fatui, Voynich Guild, Frostmoon Scions, Lightkeepers, and Hexenzirkel.

And from what we know, Nod-Krai is an autonomous region located in the southernmost part of Snezhnaya, on the edge of Teyvat. According to Liben, people from all over Teyvat gather here and “those not in the know would think that opportunities to get rich are everywhere there,” leading to Nod-Krai gaining the reputation of being an “Elysium.”

Word on the street is that the new Archon Quest is going to take place in this region too.

Nod-Krai Lore

Nod-Krai is said to operate under its own strange set of laws, with the Voynich Guild acting as the ruling authority of the city. According to Liben, the guild even stepped in to help him after he was robbed on his way there.

During the Chapter 5 Act 5 Archon Quest, Mavuika briefly mentions Nod-Krai in an optional dialogue. If you ask about the next destination, she explains that she’s received reports of a Fatui squad tied to Il Dottore, who has established a stronghold within Nod-Krai.

Early previews of Nod-Krai also revealed that the Fatui have taken over Paha Isle, setting up their primary base of operations along with the Kuuvahki Experimental Design Bureau.

Interestingly, Mavuika also hints that certain individuals in Nod-Krai possess a mysterious, ancient power predating the Seven Archons. This could be connected to the ability that Childe’s mentor, Skirk, demonstrated during the Chapter 4 Act 5 questline.

Nod-Krai Regions

The “Song of the Welkin Moon” web event gave us our first real look at the Nod-Krai map, and wow! You’ll definitely be exploring a lot in Version 6.0!

  • Paha Isle — where Fatui scientists cook up something strange.
  • Hiisi Island — home of the Frostmoon Scions and some serious lore.
  • Nasha Town — a bustling trade hub that might not be all sunshine and guilds.
  • Blue Amber Lake — complete with a crashed airship and mystery.

Nod-Krai Enemies & Bosses

Knuckle Duckle

The Knuckle Duckle is a kuuvahki mechanism that appears like a mechanical duck constructed from scrap metal and mechanical bearings.

Radiant Moonfly

The Radiant Moonfly is a butterfly-shaped creature that has been endowed with the moon’s ancient power.

New 5-Star Characters: Flins & Lauma

With a new region to explore, this time it also means new characters! The version 6.0 update also includes 2 new 5-star characters, Flins & Lauma. Each bringing a completely different playstyle.

Lauma: 5-Star Dendro Catalyst

  • Phase 1 debut alongside a Nahida rerun
  • Element: Dendro
  • Weapon: Catalyst
  • Role: Support/Hybrid

Lauma is designed as a flexible Dendro support who thrives on setting up Lunar reactions. Early info suggests that her Elemental Skill summons a field that boosts Dendro related reactions, while her Burst calls down a powerful AoE strike that can chain with Electro or Hydro for devastating results.

With Nahida returning on the same banner, it’s clear Hoyoverse wants players to double down on Dendro synergy. Lauma could easily become a core part of reaction based comps, especially in tandem with characters like Yelan, Raiden Shogun, or Alhaitham.

Flins: 5-Star Electro Polearm

  • Phase 2 debut paired with a Yelan rerun
  • Element: Electro
  • Weapon: Polearm
  • Role: Main DPS

Flins is shaping up to be the highlight of the 6.0 roster. This new character wields a Polearm and crackling with Electro energy, Flins introduces the new Lunar-Charged mechanic, a system that amplifies Crit scaling and reaction damage.

His Elemental Skill launches rapid thrusts infused with Electro, building Lunar stacks that power up his Burst. When activated, his Burst unleashes a massive spear strike that detonates Lunar energy, shredding enemies in a wide radius.

Meta-wise, Flins is expected to be a raw DPS powerhouse, ideal for players who want fast-paced, crit-heavy gameplay. With Yelan rerunning in the same phase, it’s a dream setup for Electro-Hydro synergy that maximizes damage output.

Release Schedule & Banners

  • Phase 1 (September 10-30, 2025): Lauma + Nahida rerun.
  • Phase 2 (September 30-October 21, 2025): Flins + Yelan rerun.

With this setup, Hoyoverse is giving players a strong mix of meta staples and new mechanics to experiment with.
