Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Map Changes
1. New Star Wars POIs (Points of Interest)
Epic Games rarely does full map revamps in a single season, but Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 introduces four major new Star Wars locations that replace existing areas.
Each is inspired by iconic Star Wars bases and characters:
- First Order Base: Sitting high on a mountain, this base houses TIE Fighter hangars. With five entrances, the best stealth approach is through the utility shaft. Captain Phasma guards this base, so expect a tough fight.
- Resistance Base: This underground stronghold hides under thick foliage, invisible to ships above. It’s packed with X-Wings and top-tier loot, a perfect hideout to prep for the fight against the First Order.

3. Lightsabers and Force Abilities are Back

But the real power comes from training with Force holograms scattered around the map.
- Train with Rey to get a Blue Lightsaber and unlock Force Push.
- Train with Palpatine to earn a Red Lightsaber and use Force Lightning.
- Mace Windu’s hologram appears on May 8, offering a Purple Lightsaber with Force Pull.
- Darth Maul teaches Force Throw, launching nearby objects as deadly weapons.
- Darth Vader Samurai, once defeated, grants his Mythic Red Lightsaber and Saber Throw power.
Lightsaber abilities are bound to the player, not the saber, so unless you’ve trained, you won’t have access to the Force just by picking one up.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass: Galactic Grind Time
