Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.5 Release Date

Following HoYoverse’s typical six-week update cycle, Version 3.5 will run until September 23, 2025.

That gives us two phases to look forward to, each featuring one new 5-star unit and possibly a rerun or two.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.5 New Banners (Schedule)

HSR Version 3.5 is rolling in with a pair of fresh banners that’ll keep your Wish fingers busy. Check out the lowdown:

Phase 1: Hysilens Banner

This is the banner you’ll want to hit early if you’re vibing with DoT (damage-over-time) gameplay.

Hysilens is said to burst onto the scene with bleed-heavy nukes and synergy that plays nice with Kafka, Black Swan, and Hyacine comps.

Duration: August 12 – September 3, 2025 (NA / UTC‑5). (Switches around to August 13 – September 3 for EU & Asia servers)
Featured 5★ Character: Hysilens (Physical – Nihility).

Phase 2: Cerydra Banner

Choose this banner if you’re building a buff-centered squad. Cerydra’s rumored to sharpen SPD and energy regen, perfect for rolling high-charging teams, especially alongside allies like Phainon.

Duration: September 3 – September 23, 2025 (All servers)
Featured 5★ Character: Cerydra (Wind – Harmony).

Honkai: Star Rail New Characters in Version 3.5

Version 3.5 in HSR is also dropping two fresh 5-star characters that are already stirring up major hype in the Trailblazer community.

Both are tied to the mysterious Chrysos Heirs faction and offer special mechanics that could reshape the meta.

Hysilens

Hysilens is not here to play nice. She’s a 5-star Physical Nihility unit and a member of the Chrysos Heirs, a group steeped in mysterious lore. According to leaks, she’s all about Bleed-based DoT (Damage over Time) and synergizes beautifully with Kafka and Black Swan.

If you’ve been running a half-baked DoT team with limited uptime or slow ramp damage, Hysilens might just be your missing piece. Pair her with Hyacine from 3.3 and you’ve got a lethal quartet that shreds enemies over time. Leaked gameplay highlights are:

Applies stacking Bleed effects
Triggers enhanced detonation on certain debuffs
Designed to be Kafka’s dream teammate.

Cerydra

Debuting in Phase 2, Cerydra is a 5-star Wind Harmony character–and another Chrysos Heir. Her role is pure support, with rumored abilities that boost allies’ Speed and Energy Regen, making her a natural fit for fast-paced comps.

Interestingly, leaks also hint that she’s best friends with Phainon, the powerhouse DPS from Version 3.4. Her highlights, based on leaks, are:

Buffs SPD and Energy Regen
Works best with hyper carry teams (Phainon synergy!)
Potentially replaces Bronya in certain comps.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.5 Version Banners Rerun & Light Cones

As if two brand-new 5-star characters weren’t enough, Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.5 is also bringing back fan-favorite reruns that could shake up your wishlist even more.

If you missed out on Kafka or Silver Wolf during their original runs, 3.5 gives you a second shot–and yes, their signature Light Cones are tagging along too!

HSR Version 3.5 Rerun Banners

1. Kafka Rerun (Date: TBA)

The queen of lightning-infused DoT is coming back! Kafka’s banner will rerun sometime in 3.5, making her available for new players and returning Trailblazers looking to build the ultimate DoT comp.

Her Light Cone, Patience Is All You Need, is also expected to rerun; don’t sleep on that synergy boost!

2. Silver Wolf Rerun (Date: TBA)

The beloved debuffer and glitchy hacker, Silver Wolf, is also making a comeback.

Her Incessant Rain Light Cone will likely be rerun as well, so if you missed her last time, here’s your shot.

New Light Cones in HSR Version 3.5

Each new 5-star character in Honkai: Star Rail typically debuts with their own signature Light Cone, and leaks suggest the same for Version 3.5.

While the details aren’t set in stone, here’s what we know:

1. Hysilens’ Light Cone
