Neo Artifacts is a free-to-play gacha Strategy RPG (SRPG) that brings antiques and relics to life through "Artifacters," anthropomorphized artifacts you collect across a modern-urban setting wrapped in a Chinese-inspired art style and built around turn-based, grid-based tactical combat. Published by Dragonest Games with development attributed to Cipaishe Studio, the game is out now: it first launched on 5 March 2026, with the English server following on 24 April 2026. Gameplay and Artifacter System of Neo Artifacts
In Neo Artifacts you build a team of Artifacters and investigate "Distortions," anomaly-filled zones you stabilize to restore each region, fighting through turn-based, grid-based tactical battles where positioning and team synergy decide the outcome. Your rewards go toward character cultivation, equipment, and the Artifact Shrine, which yields materials and Mythic Artifacts, before you head back to pull new Artifacters through gacha.
Artifacters and Recruitment
Artifacters are awakened artifacts from different eras and cultures, each with their own appearance, personality, and abilities, and you play as a "Curator" working under the "Kantie Foundation." You recruit them through gacha banners using Radiant Opal or Recruitment Vouchers, then grow your roster with character cultivation, skill upgrades, and equipment enhancement to take on tougher Distortions.
