Exciting Banners in Honkai Star Rail 3.4
There’s no shortage of reasons to throw your Stellar Jades at the screen this patch.

If you’re chasing new characters, Fate collab units, or rerun kings and queens, your wallet is in danger.
Phase 1 Banners

From July 2 to July 23, we’re getting a brand-new 5-star Physical Destruction unit: Phainon! Alongside this kingpin comes a trio of reruns: Tribbie, Sparkle, and Sunday–all on the Indelible Coterie banner.

New Light Cones to match? Of course! “Thus Burns the Dawn” drops alongside old faves like “If Time Were a Flower” and “A Grounded Ascent.”

4★ Boosts: Tingyun, March 7th, and Yukong will pop up more often, so maybe your beloved supports finally get their Eidolons maxed!
Fate/Stay Night Collaboration

Anime fans, rise! Starting July 11, the Fate/Stay Night collab banners roll in–introducing Saber and Archer (both 5-star, obviously). No fixed end date for these yet, but why wait?

Their signature Light Cones, A Thankless Coronation, and The Hell Where Ideals Burn are absolute must-haves for meta slaves and collectors alike.
Bonus: Spend 200 Star Rail Special Passes during 3.4 and you’ll bag Archer’s Light Cone for free. Easy win if you ask us.
Phase 2 Banners

Phase 2 (July 23 – August 12) brings more reruns–Firefly, Jingliu, and Blade–so if you missed ‘em the first time, this is your chance.
The Light Cones “Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest,” “I Shall Be My Own Sword,” and “The Unreachable Side” headline the Phase 2 pool.
For 4-star options, keep an eye out for “A Secret Vow,” “Subscribe for More,” and “Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat.”

Honkai Star Rail 3.4, Meet the New Characters
If you’ve been itching to freshen up your team comp, Honkai Star Rail 3.4 is dropping not one, not two, but three new 5-star characters–and they’re all looking insanely strong.
Let’s meet the newcomers lighting up the banners in version 3.4.
Phainon (Physical | Destruction)
Meet Phainon, the headline star of Honkai Star Rail 3.4, and quite literally a one-man army. As a 5-star Physical Destruction unit, he brings a special mechanic into the game: instead of charging Energy for his Ultimate, he builds up Coreflame stacks.

And once he’s full, he enters a self-contained Territory where your entire team vanishes, and it’s just him vs. the world.
Inside his Territory, buffs don’t expire, and he can rotate through three different skills while dishing out consistent AoE pain.
Phainon is built to hypercarry, so if you love setting up one unit to do all the heavy lifting, this is your guy.
Saber (Wind | Destruction)

Yes, that Saber. As part of the massive Fate/Stay Night collab, Saber joins the roster as a 5-star Wind Destruction unit with a combat style built around Ultimate spam and Core Resonance stacks.
Every time an ally uses their Ultimate, Saber gains energy and amplifies her damage. She thrives in teams that cycle ults quickly, making her an ideal partner for characters like Bronya or Tingyun. If you’re into quick bursts of high damage and iconic waifu energy, Saber’s your girl.
Archer (Quantum | Hunt)
The second Fate collab unit, Archer, brings a different flavor to the battlefield. He’s a 5-star Quantum Hunt character with a Skill-focused playstyle that breaks the standard turn order.

His Skill doesn’t end his turn, meaning he can stack up to five Skills in one round if you’ve got the points.
And, his Ultimate grants him Charges that let him follow up on ally attacks, dealing bonus damage, and regenerating Skill Points.
Archer is built for momentum–stack your supports before he goes, and watch him shred enemies in a single turn.
New Relics & Planar Ornaments in Honkai Star Rail 3.4

You know what time it is–HSR 3.4 version also bringing fresh Planar Ornaments to spice up your builds and boost those sweet, sweet damage numbers such as:
Arcadia of Woven Dreams
This set’s for players who like to play around with team comp mechanics, literally.
2-Piece Bonus:
- When you have more or less than 4 allies in battle, you get bonus damage.
- Each missing or extra ally gives you +9% to +12% DMG, stacking up to 4 stacks.
Good for:
- It’s practically tailor-made for Phainon, who boots the rest of your team out during his Ultimate.
- Also useful for solo-based builds or Trailblaze missions where NPCs tag along.
Revelry by the Sea
This one’s for all you DoT lovers and attack stat enjoyers–Kafka mains, come on down.
2-Piece Bonus:
- Increases ATK by 12% straight up.
- If your ATK is ≥ 2400 or 3600, it boosts your DoT damage by 12% or 24%, respectively.
Who it’s good for:
- Cracked for DoT-heavy characters like Kafka or Black Swan.
- It can also slot well into any DPS hitting high ATK thresholds.
It scales with your stat milestones, meaning the stronger you build, the harder your damage ticks hit.

New Trailblaze Missions, Outfits & Events in HSR 3.4 Patch
Also, the spiciest news that you need to know is about story missions, stylish new outfits, and limited-time events that’ll keep your schedule full from day one. Below is the breakdown:
New Trailblaze Missions
1. For the Sun is Set to Die (Main Story)
Get ready to head into Aedes Elysiae, the mystical hometown of Phainon.

This mission picks up the next chapter of the Amphoreus storyline and follows the Astral Express as they work with Phainon to recover the final Coreflame and prevent destruction.
Expect:
- Intense cutscenes
- Emotional moments
- Fresh enemies and epic boss encounters.
2. Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail (Fate Collab Side Quest)
Yep, the Fate/Stay Night collaboration comes with its own Trailblaze Continuance mission! This one sets the stage for Saber and Archer’s arrival, blending both worlds into a lore-rich crossover event.
If you’re a Fate fan, this mission is a must-play, cause it’s where the story magic happens.
New Outfit: Firefly’s Exclusive Skin

Yup, Firefly’s getting a glow-up, and it’s a full in-game skin that shows off her badassery in a whole new light. While it’s purely cosmetic, this outfit is a flex-worthy reward tied to one of the 3.4 events.
Details are still light, but knowing Hoyoverse? Expect a slick design, flashy effects, and maybe even a little bonus VO or animation flair.
Honkai Star Rail 3.4 Events You Can’t Miss
1. Fate/Stay Night Collab Login Event
Starting July 11, 2025, just log in to get Archer (5-star Quantum | Hunt) FOR FREE. Yup, no pulls, no RNG, just sign in and claim him.

That alone makes this one of the most generous collabs we’ve seen.
2. Special Warp Bonus Event

- “The Hell Where Ideals Burn” (5-star Light Cone), Archer’s signature weapon.

3. Return of the Origami Bird Puzzle Event

Casual fun meets shiny loot–what’s not to love?
Character Buffs in Honkai Star Rail 3.4
Last but not least, this HSR 3.4 update it’s also breathing new life into some of your favorite older units.
That’s right, we’re talking major buffs to a few powerhouse 5-stars that might’ve been collecting digital dust in your archives.
- Silver Wolf (Quantum | Nihility)

She’s always been a debuff queen, but now she’s got even more tricks up her hoodie sleeves.
Buff Highlights:
- Her Ultimate now reduces DEF of all enemies, not just one–yep, AoE debuff madness.
- Weakness implant now prioritizes the Type of your first team member, making mono teams even stronger.
- Starts the battle with bonus Energy and gains more at the beginning of her turn = faster Ult spam.
She’s now a must-have in mono comps. Also, she cycles faster = more uptime on defense shredding.
- Blade (Wind | Destruction)

Blade was already a menace… but now he’s even more unhinged.
Buff Highlights:
- His skills now scale with Max HP, which means big survivability = big damage.
- Using his Skill increases his aggro, making him the punching bag you always needed.
- Gains extra Energy after his Follow-Up attacks.
Tanky, self-healing, and now with even more reliable Ult uptime? You’ll never need to babysit him again.
- Kafka (Lightning | Nihility)

The queen of DoT just became a monster.
Buff Highlights:
- Her Skill now instantly triggers current DoTs on attacked enemies.
- After any ally attacks, Kafka launches a Follow-Up Attack (with a cooldown).
- That Follow-Up? Yeah, it can trigger another round of DoT. It’s like DoTception.
She went from “solid niche pick” to “meta DoT enabler.” Pair her with Sampo, Black Swan, or Luka for toxic synergy.
- Jingliu (Ice | Destruction)

Jingliu is back, and this time, she’s scaling and critting like never before.
Buff Highlights:
- Her abilities now scale with Max HP, making her bulkier and more consistent.
- Every time an ally loses HP, she gains CRIT DMG stacks.
- While in Spectral Transmigration, she gets an extra stack of “Syzygy” = more value during burst turns.
She rewards smart team setups (like HP-sacrificing supports) and just hits harder overall. Big numbers incoming.
Toggle Between Old & New Versions
Worried about these buffs messing with your existing team synergy? No problem.
HSR 3.4 lets you switch between the old and new versions of these characters anytime you want. Flexibility FTW.
Should You Rebuild or Retry These Characters?
The answer is definitely! These buffs are gameplay-altering upgrades. Here’s a quick guide:
Character | Buff Style | Ideal Role Now |
---|---|---|
Silver Wolf | Utility DPS | Mono team enabler, debuffer |
Blade | HP-Tank Carry | Sustain DPS, team soak |
Kafka | DoT Engine | Core Nihility DPS |
Jingliu | HP Burst Carry | Hypercarry for HP drain teams |
