TL;DR

  • The Roblox Grand Blue tier list ranks races from S to C based on performance, drop percentages, and advantages in gameplay.
  • Celestial Human is the top-tier race (S Tier) with a 0.1% drop rate, offering significant advantages such as a combat pet and shop discounts.
  • Beastfolk (Bunny) and Beastfolk (Cat) are both in S Tier, praised for their mobility and combat capabilities, particularly in PvP.

Disclaimer: This summary was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

If you want to optimize your pirate build and stop wasting spins, you need a reliable Roblox Grand Blue tier list that cuts through the noise.

We are looking at the current Early Access meta, analyzing exact drop percentages, hit-box advantages, and passive scaling to see what actually performs in the game right now.

Your race in Grand Blue sits on your character permanently, dictating your movement layer while your fruits and fighting styles swap around.

Pull a top-tier race, and your PvP combos and boss-farming speed go through the roof. Pull a dead one, and you will stare at the Customize Character screen all week.

Our Tier List Explained in Grand Blue Roblox

Quick context before the rankings: Grand Blue is Eternal Pose’s One Piece-style pirate RPG, built by a team that includes one of the leads from Fruit Battlegrounds.

OTHER GAMES

Ten-player seas, hourly cursed fruits, fighting styles, life skills, and a Pirate vs Marine loop running underneath it all. It’s still Early Access, so bugs happen, but the race pool is already deep enough to rank properly.

Races don’t spawn on trees like fruits do. You spin them through Race Rerolls in Customize Character, and Human is your default, not a punishment. Everything past Human is a gamble.

This list is a consensus call, not a copy-paste from one outlet. Some sites push Beastfolk to the top for pure PvP.

Others push Seafolk up next to Celestial because they rate map utility just as high. When two guides disagree, the actual kit decides the placement here, not whichever headline sounds louder.

Here’s what each tier actually means:

  • S Tier: you keep it, full stop.
  • A Tier: keep it unless you’re hunting one very specific kit.
  • B Tier: keep it if it fits your playstyle. Don’t burn spins chasing it.
  • C Tier: playable, never a brick, but the first thing you replace.

Nobody sits in D. You can finish Early Access on default Human. You just won’t get the extra juice.

That’s eight race identities if you group the Human variants as one family, or ten named rolls if you count Cat, Bunny, Long Arm, Long Leg, Half-Fish, and Celestial separately.

Best Races Tier List in Roblox Grand Blue

Based on the latest early access patch data, here is exactly where every race stands: the raw drop percentages, what the passives actually do in the arena, and how much they speed up your island grinding.

If you want to dominate 10-player docks or just explore the map without drowning, this is how the roster stacks up.

S Tier

  1. Celestial Human — 0.1%

This is the lottery ticket, and every serious list agrees on it. The shop discount alone is a long-term economy cheat, but the real reason people freak out is the companion.

Roll this and you get a second fighter you fully customize: name, height, gender, hair, voice lines. It levels alongside you, eats fruits, gains mastery, wears your gear, fights back when you get hit, and you can mount it. NPCs bow when you walk past.

The drip is nice, but the combat pet is the actual upgrade, and it even comes with a mount other races simply don’t get. Do not reroll off this; either trade it. Do not “just try one more spin” after you land it, because you will not see 0.1% again on purpose.

  1. Beastfolk (Bunny) — 4%

The PvP darling. Permanent speed that spikes even harder at night, M1s that stack Static, and at five stacks that charge pops as bonus lightning plus a short slow.

Full moon flips on the instincts: +15% M1 damage, faster swings, extra movement speed. Players have confirmed Bunny also gets a double jump on top of the shared kit, which is exactly why this variant edges into S for anyone who lives on mobility and outplay potential.

  1. Beastfolk (Cat) — 4%

Same Static kit, same night-speed bonus, same full-moon awakening as Bunny, but Cat plays like the damage-focused sibling.

If you already like sitting in M1 range and grinding islands after dark, Cat hits hard. Pick Bunny for outplays, Cat for raw pressure.

A Tier

  1. Skyfolk — 5%

The air-game race. Glide, omnidirectional air dashes so you’re not locked to one direction, +10% damage while airborne, dashes that travel 20% farther, plus an extra dash charge.

If you already play vertical, this feels like a different game entirely. If you never leave the ground, it’s just a fancy dash animation, which is why some lists rank it S and others park it in A.

  1. Seafolk — 15%

The most common “actually good” roll in the pool. Fast swim, can’t drown, faster regen and +10% damage while Soaked, plus a 15% chance to reel a second fish and +25% fishing XP.

Explorer-focused guides put this in S because Grand Blue is a sailing game and you’ll be in the water constantly during week one.

Combat-first lists drop it to A since the perk is map utility, not a PvP identity. Either way, it’s a keep.

  1. Dwarf — 2%

The bruiser and life-skill race. 15% chance to double mining and smelting yields, +25% mining XP, +10% max HP, −10% movement speed, all gear stats bumped by one level, and −10% weapon skill cooldown.

Great if you mine, tank, and lean on weapon skills. If you want to run and dodge, the speed penalty hurts enough to knock it down to B for your build.

B Tier

  1. Half-Fish Human — 1%

Don’t sleep on this one just because it’s rare. On paper it’s not a worse Seafolk, it’s the same swim, no-drown, Soaked, and fishing package plus the Human extra skill slot.

It sits under Seafolk mainly because Seafolk is the roll you’ll actually land (15% versus 1%), not because the kit is weaker. If you get it, keep it.

  1. Long-Armed Human — 5%

Extra skill slot plus 10% more M1 range. A close-range identity for anyone planning to stand in someone’s face with a melee style.

Don’t spend rerolls chasing 10% range, but keep it if you already fight like that.

  1. Long-Legged Human — 5%

Extra skill slot, +10% height, farther dashes. A travel and spacing tool more than a damage race. Same rule as Long Arm: keep it on a mobility build, don’t hunt for it.

C Tier

  1. Default Human — 74%

Extra skill slot is the entire listed combat perk. You start here, and if Human already feels fine, you can just spend your rerolls on Trait rerolls or a Fruit Chest instead.

Most players still swap the second they see any race with a real identity, and that’s the correct call. Human isn’t a trap, it’s just the floor everyone starts on.

Why the Big Sites Don’t Match

Different outlets are optimizing for different players, and that’s the whole reason the rankings clash. Combat-focused guides want Celestial, Bunny, and Cat on top with Seafolk pushed down to A, because they’re grading pure PvP juice.

Value-focused guides want Celestial and Seafolk both in S, with Beastfolk and Skyfolk in A, because they’re grading what actually gets used every single session.

The more cautious sources land somewhere in between: Celestial alone in S, Beastfolk and Skyfolk in A, Long Arm and Dwarf in B, Human in C, with a clear warning not to bankrupt yourself chasing a 0.1% roll.

If you’re fighting on ten-player docks, trust the Beastfolk placement. If you’re still learning the sailing routes between towns, trust Seafolk. If you play aerial builds, Skyfolk deserves more respect than most lists give it.

How to Get New Races in Grand Blue

How to Get New Races in Grand Blue

You don’t unlock races by exploring islands. You spin for them every time.

  1. Open Title Screen, then go to Customize Character.
  2. Spend a Race Reroll.
  3. The game shows you the full pool and odds while the spin runs.
  4. Lock whatever you can live with. Creating a new Change Slot makes a new body, it does not refund or clone your rerolls.

Where Rerolls Come from

  • Codes. The free pile. Redeem them the same day they drop, because they expire fast.
  • Quests, dailies, and Logbook achievements. Slower, but reliable for free-to-play grinding.
  • Robux shop. Community pricing floating around sits near 100 rerolls for 5,000 Robux, though treat that as an estimate until you see the live product listing.
  • Group perks. Liking the experience and joining the official Roblox group often unlocks extra freebies.

To redeem a code, go to Customize Character, find the Enter Code box, and hit redeem. There’s no code NPC hiding on the dock.

New codes tend to hit the official Discord first, so if a code tracker and the Discord disagree, trust the Discord.

What to Spend Rerolls On and What to Skip

Spend your first free batch of rerolls hunting a playstyle, not a jackpot.

  • Want PvP movement? Beastfolk, ideally Bunny if you can tell the variants apart.
  • Want the air game? Skyfolk.
  • Want the map to feel smaller? Seafolk or Half-Fish.
  • Want tank plus mining plus weapon uptime? Dwarf.
  • Want a small combat bump without a full identity change? Long Arm or Long Leg is fine, but don’t keep spinning for it.
  • Still on Human and everything feels okay? Save your remaining rerolls for Trait rerolls instead. Two good trait slots follow you to every island, and a mid race with strong traits beats a shiny race with empty ones.

Celestial is not a realistic week-one goal. The drop rate eats hundreds of expected spins on average, and a streamer hitting it on camera is a thumbnail moment, not a strategy you can plan around.

This Roblox Grand Blue tier list will keep shifting as Eternal Pose adds new races and tunes numbers like the Static stack interaction, but the core logic holds: spin for a race that matches how you already play, lock it, and go find a fruit that isn’t Spin. The sea is bigger than the wardrobe.

Now it’s your turn, guys. Drop a comment with your S-Tier picks, tell us how many spins it took to land your current best race, and call out which ability you think is due for a nerf next patch.

Let’s argue about it.
