    TL;DR

    • Version 1.3 of Neverness to Everness introduces new S-Class units, reruns, and a complete arc lineup starting August 19.
    • The current Version 1.2 Phase 2 banner featuring Iroi ends on August 19, allowing players to carry over their progress into Version 1.3.
    • NTE employs a unique pity system, where players can upgrade their pull rates and receive guaranteed S-Class units after certain roll thresholds.

Disclaimer: This summary was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Neverness to Everness banner schedule is about to flip over, and if you’re still sitting on Annulith from Iroi’s run, you’ve got less than a day to decide what to do with it.

Version 1.2 Phase 2 closes out on August 19, and Version 1.3, “Rising from the Moonlit Fog,” takes over immediately after.

Two new S-Class units, two reruns, and a full arc lineup are landing back to back, so this is the moment to lock in your pull plan instead of reacting to it mid-banner.

NTE Current Banners: Version 1.2 Phase 2, “The Lifeline”

Two Neverness to Everness v1.2 banner phases: Before the Dawn featuring Shinku

Iroi’s board is live through roughly 05:59 UTC+8 on August 19, and she’s the first dedicated limited healer NTE has put on a Scarborough Fair board.

Her kit turns team healing into stacking damage buffs and carries a revive component, which makes her a strong pull for anyone building around Shinku or other Cosmos-flavored DPS units. Rate-up A-Class units on this board are Haniel, Skia, and Aurelia.

Her signature Arc, The Wrong Gate, runs alongside her on the Dreamgate weapon board. It’s a Liquid Arc that adds an ATK boost and grants Anima damage plus team buffs whenever the wearer heals, and it stays usable by any Liquid-compatible character after you pull it, not just Iroi.

If you’re still rolling on this board, remember that your progress doesn’t reset when it ends. Pity, Points Gift standing, and Board Modification progress all carry straight into the Version 1.3 boards, so nothing you’ve built up this patch gets wasted.

How NTE Pity and the Scarborough Fair Board Work

NTE skips the standard gacha pull button entirely. Instead, you roll dice and move a token across a roughly 73-cell board, landing on tiles for character shards, Arcs, or currency. Every 10 rolls guarantees at least an A-Class unit, and the base S-Class rate sits around 0.99% to 1.87% depending on the board.

The part that separates NTE from most gacha competitors is the pity structure. Hit 70 rolls without pulling an S-Class and the board upgrades itself, known as Board Modification, pushing your rate up to roughly 19.59%.

Miss again and hard pity kicks in at 90 rolls, guaranteeing the featured S-Class outright. There’s no 50/50 coin flip working against you here. Any S-Class that drops on a limited board is the rate-up character, full stop.

Arc pulls run on their own separate pity track. The Dreamgate program, for example, guarantees a featured S-Class Arc within 8 pulls and any S-Class Arc within 6, with every single pull returning at least an A-Class item.

That’s a noticeably tighter guarantee than the character side, and it’s why a lot of veteran players prioritize signature Arcs early even when they’re still working toward a character’s hard pity.

Version 1.3 splits into two 21-day phases, running from August 19 through September 30. Maintenance for the patch is scheduled for 06:00 to 11:00 UTC+8 on August 19, with Annulith compensation for the downtime.

Phase 1: Zankou and Nanally (August 19–September 9)

Zankou S-Class character banner announcement for Neverness to Everness phase 1

Zankou headlines “Alluring Shadows,” and she’s the bigger swing of the two Phase 1 boards. She’s a former Scarlet Letter antagonist turned playable S-Class, an Incantation main DPS running Gas Arcs.

Her kit toggles between a Reality state built around standard combos and an Illusion state that spreads Heartwrench damage-over-time, and she leans hard into Break damage and CRIT scaling once you get her stacks rolling.

Outside of combat, she can turn invisible in the open world, which matters if you’re running stealth content like Pink Paws Heist.

Nanally S-Class character banner for Neverness to Everness v1.3 phase

Alongside her, “The Ichi-daime” brings back Nanally on a rerun. She’s still one of the stronger Anima follow-up attackers in the game, with self CRIT DMG scaling and strong pull for Blossom reaction teams, so if you missed her at launch or want more Awakenings, this is your window. Rate-up A-Class units for this phase are Mint, Edgar, and Adler.

Phase 2: Linko and Hotori (September 9–September 30)

Linko new S-Class character card for Neverness to Everness v1.3 phase 2

Linko takes over on “Surfing All Channels!” as an Anima DPS running Plasma Arcs, fighting alongside her ghost companion Xiaozhen.

Linko's new outfit designs featured in NTE v1.3 update banner

Her kit centers on Synced Strikes, support attacks that match her own damage type, plus a Modulation gauge that rewards mixed-attribute teams, particularly Hexed pairings with Incantation units like Zankou. She also gets a faster traversal option than the standard glider, slingshotting across the map using Xiaozhen’s ghost arms.

hotori rerun banner in nte v1.3 phase 2

Hotori returns on “Misty Tipsy Style” for her second rerun. She’s a Cosmos hybrid buffer whose Redirect skill records and replays an ally’s move, making her a strong pick if you’ve already invested heavily in a single carry and want to amplify them further.

    Misty Tipsy StyleHotori (rerun)Buff/HybridCosmosSolidSep 9 – Sep 30

Each new character launches with a signature Arc on the same track as her board: Ravenous Blade for Zankou through the Spellbound Special program, and Voice of the Voyager for Linko through Chorus Special.

Nanally’s Ready-Ready and Hotori’s Marching Beyond Time both rerun on their own dedicated programs, Tiger Special and Bright Moon Special respectively.

Ravenous Blade is already circulating as the clear best-in-slot pick for Zankou among CN players who got early access to her kit data, largely because it stacks CRIT Rate and then converts it into stacking CRIT DMG specifically on Incantation hits.

For context on how the schedule has moved since launch, here’s the run of limited boards through Version 1.2:

    • 1.0 Phase 1 (Apr 29 – May 13): Nanally, Ready-Ready
    • 1.0 Phase 2 (May 13 – Jun 3): Hotori, Marching Beyond Time
    • 1.1 Phase 1 (Jun 3 – Jun 24): Lacrimosa
    • 1.1 Phase 2 (Jun 24 – Jul 8): Chaos
    • 1.2 Phase 1 (Jul 8 – Jul 29): Shinku, Blushing Mirage
    • 1.2 Phase 2 (Jul 29 – Aug 19): Iroi, The Wrong Gate

Notice the pattern. Reruns for launch units like Nanally and Hotori keep showing up early and often, which is generous by gacha standards.

Factor that in before you chase a character now instead of waiting for a guaranteed second window.

Upcoming and Future NTE Banners Beyond 1.3

Hotta Studio hasn’t put out an official schedule past Version 1.3, aside from confirming that Version 1.4 opens up the Pukaland area with new modes and Anomaly Commissions. Everything beyond that is community tracking rather than confirmed drip marketing.

nitsa nte for future nte banners

Nitsa gets heavy narrative focus in the 1.3 story as an ally to the Eibon team, which is usually a strong signal she’s being set up as a future playable unit, most likely in 1.4 rather than 1.3.

    Blackbird and Akane Rin.

Community trackers following CN data also point to Blackbird and Akane Rin as likely 1.4 candidates, though nothing here carries the same weight as the officially confirmed Zankou and Linko lineup.

Treat any placement past 1.3 as subject to change until Hotta actually runs a preview livestream for it.

Planning around the Neverness to Everness banner schedule comes down to one thing: knowing exactly where your Annulith needs to go before Phase 1 opens on August 19.

Map your soft pity, decide between Zankou and Nanally early since they share the same pity counter, and hold back reserves for Linko if Phase 2’s Hexed pairing fits your existing roster.

Here’s the part the schedule can’t protect you from. NTE doesn’t run a 50/50, but hitting 89 rolls with nothing to show for it still happens, and losing days to a maintenance window or a currency shortfall right before a phase closes is its own kind of disaster.

If your Annulith stash is running thin with Zankou’s window opening tomorrow, topping up Riftcrystal now through Joytify is the fastest way to close that gap.

It’s a secure, instant way to load your account, guarantee the pulls you’re planning for, and walk into Version 1.3 with your roster actually ready instead of hoping the dice cooperate.
