How NTE Pity and the Scarborough Fair Board Work

NTE skips the standard gacha pull button entirely. Instead, you roll dice and move a token across a roughly 73-cell board, landing on tiles for character shards, Arcs, or currency. Every 10 rolls guarantees at least an A-Class unit, and the base S-Class rate sits around 0.99% to 1.87% depending on the board.

The part that separates NTE from most gacha competitors is the pity structure. Hit 70 rolls without pulling an S-Class and the board upgrades itself, known as Board Modification, pushing your rate up to roughly 19.59%.

Miss again and hard pity kicks in at 90 rolls, guaranteeing the featured S-Class outright. There’s no 50/50 coin flip working against you here. Any S-Class that drops on a limited board is the rate-up character, full stop.

Arc pulls run on their own separate pity track. The Dreamgate program, for example, guarantees a featured S-Class Arc within 8 pulls and any S-Class Arc within 6, with every single pull returning at least an A-Class item.

That’s a noticeably tighter guarantee than the character side, and it’s why a lot of veteran players prioritize signature Arcs early even when they’re still working toward a character’s hard pity.

She also gets a faster traversal option than the standard glider, slingshotting across the map using Xiaozhen’s ghost arms.

Hotori returns on “Misty Tipsy Style” for her second rerun. She’s a Cosmos hybrid buffer whose Redirect skill records and replays an ally’s move, making her a strong pick if you’ve already invested heavily in a single carry and want to amplify them further.
