About Ragnarok Zero: Global

Ragnarok Zero: Global is a PC MMORPG that rebuilds the classic Ragnarok experience with its iconic 2D pixel-art graphics and job class system. Gravity Game Unite, the global publishing arm of Gravity Co., Ltd., publishes and runs it. The game is out now. It officially launched in August 2026 after an Open Beta Test, and every player shares one unified global server. You play on a Windows client downloaded from the official GNJOY site, and modern features such as auto-combat, an updated UI and an expanded camera view sit on top of the classic formula. The game runs on a subscription model with a Game Pass membership and aims for fair progression rather than pay-to-win, while Zero-exclusive episodes add new storylines over time.

Gameplay and Job Class System of Ragnarok Zero: Global

Ragnarok Zero: Global keeps the classic loop of hunting monsters, leveling up and building your character around a job. It adds auto-hunting, rebalanced jobs, better quest design and gear with random sub-stats. Exclusive field content such as Fever Fields and Dynamic Fields keeps hunting grounds busy. MVP Raid content gets monthly updates alongside private party dungeons, and RO Factory is the series' first user-generated content platform, starting with footwear items. You can also collect Poring pets through Get Poring, a pet-collection game connected to your adventure.

Job Classes, Second Jobs and Rune Progression

Every adventurer starts in one of six classic first jobs: Swordsman, Mage, Merchant, Acolyte, Thief or Archer. A major update added 13 second jobs and raised the cap to Base and Job Level 60. It also brought the Orc Underground Caverns and Comodo Northern Caverns dungeons, plus the Gaebolg Family quest chain. For long-term progression, the Rune system recycles cards into lasting bonuses for your character. Kafra Points and an active Game Pass membership fit into a design built around fair progression, so your time spent hunting and questing stays at the heart of the game.
