About AFK Journey

AFK Journey is a free-to-play fantasy RPG that mixes idle progression, tactical auto battles, open-world exploration and gacha hero collection. It is developed by Lilith Games and published by Farlight Games, and it is out now on Android through Google Play, on iOS and iPadOS through the App Store (also playable on Apple silicon Macs), and on Windows PC through the official PC client and Steam. You play as Merlin, a legendary mage who has lost his memory, and you travel across the magical world of Esperia gathering a team of heroes to uncover the truth behind its conflicts. The game was named Apple's iPhone Game of the Year 2024 and nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024, and a recent update added Homestead, a simulation mode where you build, farm and decorate your own manor.

Dragon Crystals and Items You Can Top Up

Dragon Crystals are the premium currency of AFK Journey, used in the in-game shop for bundles, growth packs and other paid offers that give you summoning resources for hero banners, upgrade materials and extra rewards to speed up your progress. When you top up AFK Journey Dragon Crystals on Joytify, you can pick the amount that fits your plans: small recharges of 21 or 126 Dragon Crystals for a quick boost, mid-sized packs of 294 or 588 Dragon Crystals, and large bundles of 1554 or 3150 Dragon Crystals for players saving up for a big banner. The page also offers the Esperia Monthly passes, the Classic Gazette and the Premium Gazette, which reward you with value over the whole month, so you can choose between one-off Dragon Crystals AFK Journey packs and a longer-term pass.

Gameplay and Hero System of AFK Journey

Battles in AFK Journey take place on a tile-based grid where you position your heroes before the fight begins, then let the combat play out automatically while you trigger each hero's Ultimate by hand or leave it on auto. Smart placement matters, since battlefield hazards such as flamethrowers and landmines can turn a fight in your favour. Outside combat, you explore Esperia freely, solve puzzles, unlock teleport points and use fast travel, while idle progression keeps earning resources even when you are away. Challenge modes include the PvP Arena, Dream Realm boss fights, the roguelike Arcane Labyrinth and guild co-op content, and the Homestead mode lets you rebuild a territory, raise buildings, farm and decorate your manor.

Heroes, Factions and Gacha Progression

Your roster is built from heroes across six factions, Lightbearers, Maulers, Wilders, Graveborn, Celestials and Hypogeans, each filling a class role as Tank, Warrior, Marksman, Mage, Rogue or Support. Popular picks include Rowan and Vala from the Lightbearers, Thoran from the Graveborn, and Eironn and Lyca from the Wilders, alongside heroes such as Odie, Koko, Smokey and Meerky, Reinier and Florabelle. New heroes are recruited through the gacha system, while hero and equipment levels are shared across the roster, so a new recruit can join your team quickly. Heroes grow stronger through resonance and by ascending to higher tiers such as Supreme+ and Paragon, which is why a steady supply of Dragon Crystals helps you pull on the banners you want and push your best team further.
