Gameplay and Character System of Goddess of Victory: Nikke

Goddess of Victory: Nikke plays as a cover-based third-person shooter where you aim and fire at waves of Raptures while ducking behind cover, then charge and chain Burst skills across a five-Nikke squad for powerful combos. Beyond the campaign story stages, you take on events, raids, and limited-time collaboration content, giving you plenty of reasons to keep building your roster.

Nikke characters and gacha progression

Your Nikkes are organized by weapon class, including Assault Rifle, Submachine Gun, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, and Rocket Launcher, as well as by Burst-skill roles and manufacturer factions, so team composition really matters. You recruit new Nikkes through the gacha, then level them up, upgrade their gear, and consult tier-list evaluations to assemble the strongest squad. Topping up Gems keeps you ready to pull on the banners you want, which is why many players choose to recharge Goddess of Victory: Nikke Gems ahead of a featured unit or collaboration.
