About Never After

Never After is a mobile MMORPG from NetEase Games, co-developed with Guanghe Qiyuan, that first launched in 2022 for Android and iOS. It is a twisted fairy tale adventure RPG where heroes and villains from classic stories live side by side, in settings inspired by Grimms' Fairy Tales such as the Fantasy Wonderland, the Cursed Forest and the Plateau of Slumber. You create your own adventurer, team up with reimagined partners like Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood, and fight with card-based skills that you shape through deck-building.

Gameplay and Partner System of Never After

Never After blends MMO-style combat with card-based skills. You begin by choosing one of five classes: the Knight, a heavily armored melee tank; the Hunter, a ranged fighter who relies on attack speed and commands beasts; the Sorcerer, who wields fire and ice and summons a phoenix; the Assassin, built for fast burst damage; and the Musician, a Bard-style support who heals and boosts team resilience. The deck you build shapes the skills you bring into battle, and linking your allies' skills unleashes combo attacks. Content covers PvE and PvP, co-op dungeons, clans and player trading, along with calmer activities such as designing your own manor, gardening and cooking.

Fairy Tale Partners and Character Progression

Your party is completed by reimagined fairy tale partners, including Snow White and Prince Charming at SSR rarity, Little Red Riding Hood at Legendary rarity, and familiar faces such as Cinderella, Alice, Doris and Carol, alongside the Golden Unicorn. Updates have introduced Eudemons, Dragonlings and a wedding system, while events like partner check-in rewards give you more ways to expand your roster. Spending Never After Diamonds on bundles, the Premium Pass or the Growth Fund helps you gather resources faster, power up your partners and keep your deck strong for dungeons and PvP.
