When Will Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Go Live?

Honkai Star Rail Version 3.6 officially drops on September 23, 2025 for North American servers at around 10:00 PM UTC-5, which means late evening pulls for NA players. For Europe, the patch will roll out in the early hours of September 24 (around 4:00 AM UTC+1), and Asia servers — including TW, HK, and MO — will see the update go live on September 24 at 11:00 AM UTC+8.

As always, expect a short maintenance period a few hours before release, so you might be locked out temporarily while HoYoverse pushes the update. Once servers are live, you’ll get a patch download, bonus Stellar Jade for the downtime, and the green light to start pulling for Evernight.

Evernight – New 5-Star Character in Honkai Star Rail 3.6

Honkai Star Rail Evernight

Evernight is a controller-DPS hybrid who thrives on freezing enemies and turning the battlefield into her playground. Her basic attack deals Ice damage scaling off her Max HP, which already sets her apart from most Remembrance characters. Her skill summons her companion, Evey, and buffs Critical Damage for memosprites, letting her ramp up damage over time.

Her ultimate, O Wakeful World, Goodnight, is where she really shines. She deals massive AoE Ice damage through Evey, enters a special empowered state called Darkest Riddle, and gains immunity to Crowd Control. This means she can keep locking down enemies while staying safe from stuns and freezes herself.

On top of that, her talent rewards risk-taking: when she or Evey lose HP, they gain Crit DMG buffs and build Memoria stacks, which grant Evernight more CC immunity when fully charged. Put simply, Evernight is a slow-burn powerhouse who rewards good planning and can carry teams in multi-enemy content like MoC and Pure Fiction.

Best Team Comps for Evernight

Building the right team around Evernight maximizes her freeze potential and damage output. Here are a few ideas:

  • Premium Freeze Control Team: Evernight + Pela + Ruan Mei + Gepard
Pela shreds DEF, Ruan Mei boosts damage and speed, and Gepard keeps everyone safe with shields. Perfect for MoC or Pure Fiction stages.
  • Budget-Friendly Setup: Evernight + Pela + Natasha + Dan Heng
This team uses easily available units to keep enemies frozen while Natasha provides sustain.
  • Follow-Up Comp: Evernight + Herta + Ruan Mei + Topaz
Freezes from Evernight set up Herta and Topaz to dish out heavy follow-up damage on locked-down enemies.

Focus on Effect Hit Rate and HP relics for Evernight so she can consistently land her freezes and scale her damage.

Herta Rerun – Your Second Chance

Alongside Evernight’s banner comes the Herta rerun, a fan-favorite Erudition unit whose AoE Ice damage remains one of the most satisfying farming tools in the game. If you missed Herta before, this is your chance to grab her and her signature Light Cone, or finish maxing her Eidolons if you’re already invested.

Light Cones in Phase 1 HSR 3.6

The Phase 1 Light Cone banner is equally strong, featuring Evernight’s signature Light Cone “To Evernight’s Stars”, which supercharges her freeze uptime and overall damage. The 4-star lineup includes Dream’s Montage, After the Charmony Fall, and Dance! Dance! Dance!. All solid options that bring value even if you miss the 5-star drop.

Honkai Star Rail 3.6 Phase 1 Banner Schedule

  • Phase 1 (Evernight + Herta rerun): September 23 – October 15, 2025
  • Phase 2 (Permansor Terrae + Anaxa rerun): October 15 – November 4, 2025

Be sure to log in on patch day because HoYoverse usually gives out Stellar Jade and free tickets during version launches.

Should You Pull Evernight?

Evernight is worth pulling if you love controlling fights, stacking freezes, and enabling team synergy. She works particularly well with Pela for DEF shred and Ruan Mei for buffs, while shields from Gepard keep her and Evey alive. Just keep in mind that she needs decent Effect Hit Rate investment to consistently land her freezes, and she performs best with her signature Light Cone.

If you’re tight on resources and already have a strong Ice core, you may want to wait for Phase 2’s characters, but for players who love CC and flexible Remembrance builds, she’s an easy recommendation.

Tips to Maximize Your Pulls

  • Save up Stellar Jade and Passes early. Aim for at least 70–80 pulls to give yourself a good pity cushion.
  • Use free tickets first. Gather them from login events, Simulated Universe, and any redemption codes released with 3.6.
  • Pull early in the banner. If you’re chasing Evernight and her Light Cone, you’ll want time to recover resources if you lose a 50/50.
  • Don’t ignore the rerun. Herta’s banner is good value if you still need her or want her Light Cone — and she’s great for farming content.

The Honkai Star Rail 3.6 banners are shaping up to be one of the strongest opening phases we’ve seen. Evernight brings fresh mechanics and team-building options to Remembrance teams, while Herta’s rerun is a perfect opportunity for collectors and new players to fill gaps in their roster.

If you’ve been hoarding Stellar Jade, this is the perfect time to spend wisely, grab some guaranteed value, and get your team ready for Phase 2 later in October.
