Hypergryph has held a tight six-to-seven-week rhythm between major versions since Version 1.1 in March, and applying that math to 1.4’s July 16 launch points to a Version 1.5 release around September 2, 2026, right after server maintenance.

If you’re newer to Endfield’s gacha, the Chartered Headhunting system gives you a 50 percent shot at the rate-up 6-star on any 6-star pull, soft pity kicks in around 65 pulls, and hard pity caps at 80.

The featured operator doesn’t vanish after their banner ends either; they stick around as an off-rate pull across the next two Chartered banners, which gives you room to breathe if you’re saving for someone specific down the line.

Weapon banners run longer than character banners, typically spanning three character rotations, and you earn tickets toward them through character pulls. Basic Headhunting and New Horizons banners stay permanent, so nothing there is time-limited.

Lore-wise, she’s the 13th Proxy of the Feranmut Sui, the draconic being behind “Evolution,” and her older siblings include familiar Arknights names like Nian, Ling, Dusk, and Chongyue.

She’s tied to the Hongshan Academy of Sciences and to the Feranmut Hearts that hold back the Blight across Wuling, and her ink-and-scroll powers put her in the same visual family as her sister Jie.

Community consensus puts Si as the Phase 1 headliner for 1.5, with some trackers estimating her banner as early as August 30.

Her element and role are still guesses, though the Nature tag keeps coming up alongside speculation about a flexible support or Vanguard kit that would round out a roster gap.

What isn’t in question is the hype: most of the community is holding Oroberyl for her specifically because of the story payoff, not because anyone has confirmed she tops the current damage charts.

For your factory, watch for whether her kit ties into a specific resource line the way past story-critical operators have. Nothing official points to a passive utility yet, so this is one to confirm on stream rather than plan around blind.

Typhon’s Ghost Walks Snow Pine Forest

The second name everyone’s circling is a purple-haired Sarkaz operator carrying a massive mechanical bow, shown at a shooting range in a snowy forest during the 1.4 Future Version Preview.

The resemblance to the original Arknights Sniper Typhon is hard to miss: similar hunter archetype, similar Infected Sarkaz background, though her horns are shorter and more curved and her frame reads slightly leaner than the source material.

The community is still divided on whether she is a Reconvener built from a damaged Originium seed or a separate descendant, with the horn and build differences serving as the primary evidence in either case.

Endfield doesn’t currently have a bow weapon class (the roster runs Sword, Greatsword, Polearm, Handcannon, and Arts Unit), so expect her bow to drive skill animations while an equipped weapon type covers the mechanical side.

Some tracker roadmaps tag her as a Nature-element main DPS running a Handcannon, which would make sense given the shooting-range teaser, but that’s projection until the livestream locks it in.

If the snowy region event turns out to be a long-range shooting minigame, as several trackers expect, her kit is likely to tie directly into it.

That’s a rare case where the marketing event and the banner character probably share the same mechanical identity.

The Hongshan Imperial Guard, a Quiet Third Pick

The least discussed of the three is a blond, calm-and-resolute male operator with a polearm, beast ears, and a scaled tail, affiliated with Hongshan rather than Kazimierz.

The visual similarity to the original Arknights Guard Młynar has generated its own debate, and the faction mismatch (Hongshan instead of Kazimierz) is the sticking point keeping people from calling this a confirmed reconnection to that character.

Community trackers currently slot him into Phase 2 of 1.5 with a Physical element and a Main DPS role, though like everything else here, none of it is official yet.

He’s drawing less hype than Si or the archer, but he fills a real gap. Endfield’s male operator roster is thin, and a well-timed release here matters more for roster balance than for meta shakeups.

New Areas: Snow Pine Forest, Painted World, and Yuanyuan Manor

Version 1.5 pushes the story past Yinglung Pass into a snow-covered forest region tied to the dream-overlap theme teased in 1.4.

Two more locations, Painted World and Yuanyuan Manor Inn, have appeared in preview material and guide aggregations, with Yuanyuan Manor pointing toward a restaurant-management event rather than a combat zone.

None of these are confirmed as playable at 1.5 launch specifically; some may land with Phase 2 or bleed into 1.6.

Events and Quality-Of-Life Changes Coming to Endfield 1.5

The Version 1.4 livestream previewed a shooting-range event, an obstacle course, and a restaurant-service activity, all consistent with the areas above.

On the systems side, expect hideable button prompts during autoplay story dialogue, a continuous placement option for AIC mode out in the wilderness.

This new progression overview maps out every resource a character still needs, new personal devices in the Talosite store, and a completion time display on select stage results.

None of these change your pull priorities, but they’re worth knowing before you sit down with your factory layout.

If you’re chasing pure combat efficiency, hold judgment on all three until the kits are confirmed. Right now there’s genuine risk in committing hard to the Sarkaz archer purely on Typhon nostalgia.

Fantasy-versus-mechanics mismatches have burned pullers before when a visually exciting operator turned out to fill a role your roster already covers.

Your current 1.4 resources, Arcane and Liino, remain strong enough to carry you into 1.5 content without a rush purchase.

If your Oroberyl is tight, there’s no cost to waiting three more days for the livestream before locking in a target.

Looking Past 1.5: Si’s Actual Banner and the M3 Tease

Some longer-range tracker roadmaps place Si’s actual playable debut in Phase 1 of Version 1.6 instead of 1.5, tagged with a Heat element, alongside a Version 1.6 Phase 2 pick nicknamed M3, an Electric sub-DPS or support unit whose design draws heavy comparison to Arknights’ Mon3tr.

If that roadmap holds, the archer and the Hongshan guard would carry 1.5 on their own while Si’s reveal slides one version later than most community hype currently assumes.

Treat this as the lowest-confidence layer of the whole forecast; it directly contradicts the more common “Si headlines 1.5” read, and only the August 21 livestream settles which version is right.
